I
know you bought a new ATV and you are excited to get out on the trails
and enjoy the gut-wrenching ups and downs of the cliffs. But do you have
all the safety gears needed for a safe ATV riding experience? Here is a
list of essential gear for a risk-free ATV riding experience:
Helmet:
Arguably
a helmet is the most important piece of safety gear you should wear
while riding an ATV. If there’s anything you put on first, it is your
helmet & if there’s anything you take off last, it must be your
helmet.
When
buying a helmet first look at the back of it to see which safety
standard it has. Preferably you should look for “DOT” and “Snell” logos
which indicate it has passed a high level of safety standard.
Gloves:
It
may look like a luxury to put on gloves while driving your ATV on the
trails but they are essential. A good pair of gloves will safeguard your
hands from flying gravel & rocks. They will also safeguard your
hands from bushes & branches when you drive past large trees.
